“Ambassadors of Change”: project news
9 th of December the first stage of “Ambassadors of Change” project realized by Luhansk Youth Centre for Regional Co-operationgot in partnership with British Council in Ukraine got started.

Young people from all over Luhansk region (Eastern Ukraine) came to participate in the workshop “Tolerance and xenophobia counteraction: making steps”. The target group of this stage was very diverse: young people who’ve already been involved in civic work and rural youth. The first success point was that instead of expected 35 participants we had almost 50. There were some youngsters from rural area who first times in their lives participated in informal learning events. Tanya Niedovasova from Beloe said: “It’s a pity that I didn’t participate in such workshops before. That was great experience for me” That was the second point of our success. During the workshop participants learnt about human’s rights, tolerance and stereotypes. Youngsters concluded that the tolerance is crucial in our society.
The next stage of our project will start soon – it will be selection of participants from the Eastern Ukraine to be Ambassadors of Change, participate in “Let’s learn community we live in” training course and explore our multicultural reality. We will be happy to share information about it soon.
Change starts with YOUth!
